The compass was invented before the clock — it's not how long, it's whether we're moving in the right direction.
— Hannah Udhaya Vaseekaran, Director, Training & Operations
Our inaugural quarterly newsletter highlights the partnerships, training initiatives, and certification milestones that shaped Maayan Skill Development Center's first quarter of FY 2026–27.
Opening Note
A word from our Director on the quarter that shaped this newsletter.
The first quarter of FY 2026–27 marks an important chapter in Maayan Skill Development Center's journey. It has been a quarter of purposeful progress — strengthening partnerships, expanding our training initiatives, and creating meaningful learning opportunities for students and institutions alike.
This newsletter is our way of documenting that journey. More than a record of activities, it reflects our commitment to building industry-ready talent and creating lasting value for our academic and corporate partners.
As we present this inaugural edition, I extend my sincere appreciation to our clients, partner institutions, industry collaborators, trainers, and students for their continued trust and support. We look forward to strengthening these relationships and achieving many more milestones together in the quarters ahead.
The Quarter, Milestone by Milestone
Six defining moments from April to June 2026 — each reflecting meaningful partnerships and growth across Maayan.
Maayan completed our first Career Break Women Program, with participant Dhivya Sri T successfully presenting her project in May after completing her Salesforce Administrator learning journey.
Dhivya turned her Salesforce learning into something useful right at home. She created an app to support her husband's garage business, making everyday work simpler and more organised. In the process, she achieved what we like to call "two mangoes with one stone" — she gained practical project experience while solving a real business problem!
According to her trainer Ramesh Kumaresan, her discipline in completing assignments and hands-on practice, along with her willingness to seek clarity, were key factors for her success.
Speaking on her experience, Dhivya Sri credited her trainer for consistent guidance and support throughout the course. Maayan noted that the program reflects its continued focus on enabling career restarts for women in technology and in any other field.
Maayan has completed the first in-house Salesforce Project Program held from May 23 to June 6, 2026. The pilot batch consisted of six students from Arasu College of Arts and Science for Women, Karur — and this was their first time travelling away from their hometowns.
Under the guidance of Maayan's training team, students developed a live project titled "Cloud-Based Daily Expenses and Fees Tracking System for Educational Institutions," covering data modelling, security, automation, and reporting. The program concluded with student presentations and the distribution of project completion certificates.
For Maayan, this batch served as a test of its internal training capabilities, covering needs analysis, content development, and delivery. We are now ready to train interns on the 2-week and 4-week Salesforce Project Programs, which are ready to scale to additional institutions.
Maayan is currently conducting a large-scale Salesforce training program for 59 students at an academy of higher education in Coimbatore, running from June 8 to July 24, 2026.
The seven-week program is structured around Salesforce Administrator revision, a full Development course, and dedicated certification readiness sessions, with the objective of preparing students to clear the Salesforce PD1 (Platform Developer I) certification. The training is being delivered by our trainers Viknesh, Ramesh, Kamali, and Arun.
The program represents one of Maayan's larger engagements to date, reflecting continued demand from academic institutions for structured, certification-focused Salesforce training.
Over 120 engineering students from three colleges under the Karpagam group of institutions attended a career-orientation session titled "Your Salesforce Career Starts Here," held on June 19, 2026, at Karpagam College of Engineering, Mayileripalayam.
The session was led by Mr. Sathishkumar Periyasamy, Salesforce Technical Architect at Eastman Kodak, USA, with 17+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. The attendees included students who had already earned their Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification, as well as those currently undergoing PD1 training.
The session covered Salesforce's scale as the world's leading CRM platform, current job market and salary data, and the growing role of AI and Agentforce within the ecosystem. Sathish shared his own career trajectory as a case study, followed by a structured goal-setting exercise distinguishing short- and long-term career milestones.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students raised questions on AI's impact on Salesforce careers, interview preparation, and long-term career progression, reflecting strong engagement with the subject matter throughout the session.
During June 2026, Maayan signed a training proposal with Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Chinniampalayam, to deliver a pilot Salesforce certification program for 30 final year students.
Designed with an outcome-first approach, the program is structured to prepare students for the Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification while building practical industry readiness. The learning journey begins with an introduction to the Salesforce ecosystem, followed by hands-on Trailhead learning, Salesforce Administrator theory and practical sessions. Students then progress through a four-week Salesforce Development program before entering a focused certification readiness phase.
The program is inclusive of mock technical interviews conducted by Salesforce professionals, providing students with real-world interview experience. In addition, Hannah Vaseekaran will lead dedicated sessions on interview readiness, resume writing, professional communication, and workplace grooming, ensuring participants are equipped with both technical expertise and essential employability skills.
Maayan ran three Meta ad campaigns over the past quarter, aimed at strengthening digital visibility and lead generation across its training programs. Of the three, the campaign promoting the Internship and Project Program recorded the strongest response, driving higher engagement and inquiries compared to the earlier campaigns.
Building on this performance, Maayan plans to make Meta ads a key focus area in the coming quarter. This will be part of a wider digital marketing push to strengthen brand visibility and generate more leads.
By the Numbers

Looking Ahead
Strengthening the foundation for growth to support a widening portfolio of institutional partnerships.
Parallel investment in marketing and branding, deepening visibility across the region's academic and corporate ecosystem.
Expanding the 2-week and 4-week Project Programs, and the outcome-focused certification pilots, to more institutions.
Building on the momentum of recent programs, we at Maayan continue to grow as a trusted name in Salesforce-focused skill development in Coimbatore and beyond.
